There are few things we love discussing more than a new Mercedes-Benz. Especially when that new Benz is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E 300. Why? Because it’s a big update. The new E 300 is faster, more technologically advanced, and better on gas than its predecessor, and we like that.
Let’s start by taking a look at its new engine. Mercedes-Benz has built a torque-heavy 4-cylinder that gets nearly 30 mpg on the highway. It’s not a track-car, but that 271 lb-ft of torque makes sure this engine is no couch-potato. It’s very quick off the line.
But the Mercedes-Benz E 300 also offers some self-driving amenities. For instance, there’s the new automatic parking mode, and the higher trim models will have a semi-autonomous driving mode, that will maintain a safe following distance, and keep your car within the lane on the highway. It’s going to be great for long road trips.
