Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class Highlighted at Fashion Show

It is very likely that, at some point, you’ve heard this phrase: When you got it, flaunt it. These words were first uttered by Max Bialystock in The Producers, and they’ve become a mantra for people who display their beauty. Well, Mercedes-Benz not only fulfilled those words, it provided others a platform to do the same. From February 6th to February 13th, the German automaker hosted its very own fashion week from the Lincoln Center in New York City. More than 100 fashion designers showcased their 2014 fall collection; there was, however, one gorgeous model that stole the show.

The all-new 2015 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class.

This chic new SUV can be found on the showroom floor this fall. Since the model’s concept drawings, consumers have been waiting with great anticipation to get behind the wheel. Noted for a sleek, aerodynamic design, it embodies luxury while also encouraging spirited driving. The GLA-Class is intended for the adventurous type who wants a vehicle that can perform well off-road without diminishing the opulence upon which Mercedes-Benz built its stellar reputation.

Throughout the fashion week, renowned street-style photographer Youngjun Koo pictured stylish urbanites throughout New York City. These pictures were printed and wheat-pasted into an interactive display that surrounded the GLA-Class in the main lobby of the Lincoln Center. While the week of fashion concluded, the journey is only beginning for the GLA-Class.

For you avid readers, here is an article about the GLA45-AMG that was debuted at the Detroit Auto Show just last month.
