In our continued efforts to serve our community, Mercedes-Benz of Cary is proud to present the 2015 Cary Tennis Championships. Part of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour Event, this tournament will run from September 14-20 at the Cary Tennis Park.
Following the excitement of the 2015 US Open, the Cary Tennis Championships will feature many of the top ATP pros in addition to the best local talent. Ryan Harrison, Bjorn Fratangelo, and Austin Krajicek – players you may recognize from their recent performance in the US Open – are all confirmed to be attending.
A qualifying round of 32 players will be held on September 13 with 4 players advancing. The singles main draw will be 32 entrants, and the doubles main draw will be 16 teams.
The Cary Tennis Park is the largest public or private tennis facility in North Carolina, and it is one of the largest such facilities in the nation, hosting more than 250,000 visitors annually. The park features 29 regulation courts and 4 youth courts, catering to more than 600 adult and youth league teams. It also hosts upwards of 30 major events annually, including the Men’s and Women’s ACC Championships, the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s National Championships, and the USTA National Tennis On Campus Championships.
